Squeaky rear :( :(
Theres squeaky noises all over my damn car and it wasnt like this when i first got the car(stock).Im riding on ground controls and kyb agx my car is not slammed some even say it needs to be lowered more.If you have the same problems as me post what you did to get rid of the problem cuz its damn annoying.I kno our cars are old but there has to be something to get rid of all this
Me and my friend have taken off the shocks so many times and made sure they were put back together right so i dont think its driver error. So should i just spray the bushings and top mounts with wd40?
My Si is the same way right now on Tein springs. I sprayed lube on them and it worked for a while then it came right back. I'm getting Omni power soon so I'm not freaking out about it, but bump for an answer that I'd like to know too.

as a temporary fix yeah it would do the job, but the best thing to do is to replace the bushings with oem rubber/or energy suspension bushings. but i've heard that some of the energy bushings tend to squeak too but are far greater performance wise than oem. best bet is to replace the bushings and lube up the mounts

My car seemed to always squeak the worst after driving on wet roads. Eventually it just went away. Everyone I talked to said I need to lube the bushings up. Get a Energy Suspension Master kit. I just installed mine and I like it a lot. So far no squeaks. The only downside is that You feel every little bump in the road.

are you sure the squeak is coming from the suspension? check the trailing arm bushings and LCA bushings, Did you Load them when you put on the drop?
If not then replace and Load them and your all set

The overal feel of the car is good when going over bumps and stuff with the help of the shocks but it sounds as if im riding on stock shocks but with the aftermarket shock performance.Someone plz help me my car was never like this before(stock)and i understand that im putting more stress on it then what it used to be before but there has got to be something i can do that can make me like driving my car again
Don't bother with wd40, get some silicone lube. They sell it at the hardware store - make sure it's the 100% pure stuff used for faucets. Not only does it lube great, it stays there for a long time and is not water-soluble in the least. The only issue is that dirt will stick to areas where the silicone isn't between parts (no big deal).

I have the same problem...I had GCs on stock shocks (the way I bought the car) and I was getting noise from the rear passenger side, so I put on some KYB AGXs...the noise is still there. It's unbelievably irritating.
Mine kinda squeaks, but it also make a clunking sound. It's not that loud, but it's annoying as hell. I wouldn't even know what to bother replacing to take care of it as I'm not up for a wild goose chase...

I wish. It drives me insane man.
From what I'm reading it seems like the dust boots cause the clunking noise, but I can't imagine why the same sound is coming from the same area after I already replaced the shocks.

i reset the bushings in the rear and it didnt do much at all.Im thinking of getting gsr suspension for the front and back cuz im thinking the bushings are not that old and probably still in good condition
how do you know its the suspension?
have a friend drive the car, sit in the back, stick your ear in different locations. stand outside next to a speed bump, have that person drive close by.
diagnosing any noise issue as symptom is so open ended. just saying you have a noise, help me doesnt offer much to chance to help. front? back? going over bumps? going fast or slow? answer these questions yourself, youll probably find the issue on your own.
its gotta have something to do with the rubber. probably under the spring perch. but its just a guess.

I was going nuts with some "clunking" noises in the front end of my 89 CRX Si (during med-hard braking). Finally I got fed up & ordered every bushing & shim for the front end and completely rebuilt it. I even replaced the front trans mount. Once I was done, the car felt 100 times better & clunking was gone, but I still can't tell you were the damn noise was coming from.
I too hate noise problems too, but they can be a total bitch to find...
Just gotta get creative & search search search...
