VTEC dissy on a non VTEC

VTEC dissy on a non VTEC
aight well i know a nonVTEC dissy will work on a VTEC head with the leg cut off. A friend of mine needs a new dissy and wants to know if a VTEC one will work on a non VTEC motor. I told him that non vtec will work on vtec so im pretty sure but he wants confermation. The dissy is on d series motor and its from the same car (civic) also same year
