Just as the title says.. I have a VAFC 2 sitting around and I heard the Type S tach is off by like 200 rpm or so and I wanna try bumping vtec down to around 5300 rpm to see if I can notice any gains. Also, I'm fairly sure the ECU is located at the passenger foot area..

 

So... Nobody here works on there own car and saves useful pages?

VAFC2 is quite useless for K20 engines.

Adjusting the VTEC point won´t work properly.

 

i have am 05 rsx and i just got the VAFC2 as-well. But im tring to trouble wiring it up.could you help me out with a pic or a schematic of your wiring on your rsx.or written directions on were which wire goes were.

 

 

I have an 05 rsx type s and i think im stuck on stupid or im kinda slow, but on ecu harness there is no wiring running to my VTC Cam Signal nor my TDC Signal and the ECU-Vtec Solenoid Signal and Harness-Pressure Signal. Do i not use these or am i still high from last night?

 

no its just that vafc's will not work properly on k20 motors....you'll have to use hondata reflash or kpro!! research before you buy!!!
