1. For all you cool people with a manual trans. : When you are using the break to slow down with the car in gear do you push in the clutch?
2. Is there any way to paint my 94 tail lights to look like the 98+?

1. No, Only if the rpm gets low enough that it might stall, or only when shifting down.
2. I don't know.

 

1. When slowing down, I take it out of gear when it drops to 1.2~1.5k RPMs. I don't like to leave the clutch in for long. Even when I'm in traffic, I always release the clutch.
Some lazy people will just have their foot on the clutch and shifted to 1st gear so they can going immediately after the light turns green.

2. There is a way, it has been discussed before, I'd suggest doing a search or go to team-integra.net and try searching there. All you do is use red paint using a spray gun to spray it from the inside and put down multiple layers down. Sorry can't really help you here.

 

3. No, I don't engage the clutch. I use the tranny to slow down in conjuction with the brakes. That way you are not relying on the brakes alone to stop the car.

4. I am sure you can paint your tail lights but what if you screw up? Where are you then. I suggest if you really want the 98+ tail lights, just go and buy some. You could probably find them somewhere with out going to the dealer.
