Default First mods for a 97 Civic CX Hatch

Asking what directions I could take. And what should my first mods should be?
I was thinking of the Apexi N1 Catback, and maybe some headers/CAI, or SRI...
Wanted to know what headers I should get, and if I should get the CAI over the SRI.
I live in a place where it snows a bit. Rains sometimes, and I'm about 5k feet above sea level. Looking for more low end.
Just a new guy looking for bits of help here and there.

It's also a daily driver, and only has 112k miles on it, currently.

Y8 transmission swap .. then go from there .. its "header" ... youll get flamed for that ..

edit: w/ 112,000 miles .. for the cost of the N1, intake, and header .. all considering your buying brand name stuff.. you could have a newer, less mileage D16 .. can be had for 300-700$$$ .. that would be the best .. unless you want a B16/18 then again add 1500-2000 to that price

Well, why I wrote "Only 112k Miles" is because I didn't really want to swap, quite yet.
Also, was asking what Header to look for. The N1 would be Apexi.
What's the Y8?
Yep. I'm new, and I expect to get flamed. But I'll learn, and people won't have to repeat themselves twice.

y8 is a single cam vtec motor it has shorter gears . i would get an exhaust or intake things that can be used if you decide to swap it.

Great attitude
welcome to H-T

to tell you the honest truth, you can add bolt on to that motor and youl be happy, but you will still get picked on by swapped hondas and such.

I would say save some mulla and get yourself a turbo kit, or for a cheaper option build a home made one.

for the price of quality i/h/e i would personally look into piecing a lil turbo set up, it doesent have to be something extreme you can actually use a lot of stock dsm parts ...once you go boost you'll never go back
