Default Creaking noise

I have an 03 Si that has started to make a creaking noise. It happens when the motor is under a load, while shifting. If I am at a stop light and I start to go.....it creaks from N-1, 1-2, 2-3 and sometimes 3-4. It sort of resembles a suspension creak, like a bushing noise. It has been doing it for less than a week. The only modifications done to the car are a V2 intake and aluminum shifter bushings.

Has anyone else ever experienced this or know what it could possibly be?

Thanks,

-Rob

Motor mount bushing? Just a guess, but if you don't have a torque damper or motor mount insert, your motor is swinging 4-5" on hard upshifts. 4 year old mounts may be getting tired of it.

nah, atleast not in my case since it only occurs on slow starts.

I have have those plus my windshield vibrates a little which drives me nuts. Steering rack and clutch pedal noises are common for EP3s.

I have that rack creak, anyone know if there is a fix for it. Updated tie rod ends? Or bushings?
