94 Accord EX Emissions Inspections Failure.. Look

I have a 94 Accord Ex with 171k

The car runs fine despite the mileage.

In metro NY the car(odb1) is run on a dyno while the sniffer test is run.

Mine: HC .19gpm
Limit: HC .80gpm

Mine CO 2.93gpm
Limit CO 15.00gpm

Mine NOx 3.0gpm
Limit NOx 2.0gpm

So it failed on the NOx. What would be the likely causes of this failure?

Do any of those pour in gas treatments/band-aids work?

The inspector ran the car twice and then proceeded to make fun of my old car. Oh well, I like my buckets..

Anyhow if you have any real clues please advise.

I'd say the EGR system would be the first place to check. This link might also help you. http://www.troublecodes.net/articles/smog.shtml
All the basic items can also effect the test, oil change, fresh spark plugs , timing, engine and CAT temp.
If you have to sit in a line waiting for the test, keep the cat hot by running the RPM up a little.
I have heard rumors that a can of injector cleaner dumped into less than 1/4 tank of gas can help to fool the test???
