Is the Mainshaft and Input Shaft bearing the same thing?

Default Is the Mainshaft and Input Shaft bearing the same thing?
I have been told my input shaft bearing is bad and needs replaced so I got a new one but when I look through the Helms manual it does not list an input shaft bearing but I find the mainshaft bearing.. I know this bearing sits in the case at the input shaft but why wouldn't they have it listed?

anyone?

mainshaft=inputshaft
