anyone know if the NRG seats are safe

im want some new seats but i dont feel like spending $1000 or putting my life at risk

so

yay or nay on the safety

I don't see why they wouldn't be. But the question is are they as comfortable as something like Recaros or brides?

if it's not DOT or FIC aproved then it's not safe. most seats are just for bling bling.
plus most seats are designed to be used with full 4-5 point harness and roll cage. sometimes even with the removal of the OEM airbag-steering wheel.
