Anybody hit vtec @ 4700.....w/out vtec controller?
I don't know what happened when i was fixing up my cell codes; however, i need to know what i did b/c kicking vtec @ 4700 is tight!!....93 prelude si 4ws vtec (h22a)...
how'd someone in long beach get an Si 93 Vtec 4ws? Is this like the north america canadian model? That must be one fun ride
yes your right...i have orginally a 93 prelude si 4ws...and i swapped it with a jdm h22a......sounds goog huh....however...my tach is cool....it runs w/ the green wire on the dizzy....so don't worry about it....just wondered if anybody out there have this..."Gift"....?
Well before you get all excited, does it engage at differant speeds, because the prelude tachs are pretty sloppy, mine goes in and out. Sometimes it idles at 2k,
and sometimes VTEC engages at 3500, but still at the same speeds, 40 for second about 60 for third and around 80 for fourth, and Yes, I also have a JDM engine and tranny.

mmm....yea ur right...i am excited...however...i will go ahead monitor the speeds it's hitting .....my experience is that...it's hitting around 4700-4800....and it works greater than before.....meaning i cleaned out the solenoeid.....easily w/ carb cleaner.....fixed the spool also....good stuff
