Default Throttle body size?

I have 6th gen accord with h22 swap. Yesterday i went to mech shop cuz i have brake light problem. After it fixed, mech come to talk to me and he said i should change throttle body. I asked him why, he said like a accord have smaller throttle than prelude if i change it, this would help engine breath more deeper and i would gian more hp about 10. So later that day i went to on internet look for throttle, but it has many size. I don't know which throttle size i should buy. Any help thank.

If you have an h22 swap. you probably have an h22 throttle body not the accord. I dont think hes knows what hes talking about.

But yes you can get a bigger throttle body but is your h22 relativly stock?

You can go with an aftermarket TB, yes.

But you can also talk to Maxbore, and get your stock TB bored out for around $100.

yeah that sounds like the best idea. you will still have all the proper sensors. and you know that it will be bigger then stock just the question is how much bigger. Its preference and how much work you have done to your motor.

They do very good work! Best 100 bucks spent. Can't go wrong with this

yes, one of the main reason people send it to him is because he knows how to adjust the thottle plate to match the bigger tb, which require more than just guess work.

you should be already using h22 tb and sensor if that's what you swap in
