I know the DX has Dual point fuel injection, smaller engine and no sunroof(but i've seen some with sunroofs, whats up with that? how much $$?) anything else i'm forgetting? Thanks

Go to resource.crx.org and click on "CRX Information" which will be on the left toolbar. Then click on "CRX specifications" on the next page on the left side again. That will show you all the differences between HF, DX, and SI models.

what about the sunroofs i see? how much are those?

 

i know the seats door pannels fuel injection system sunroof and thats all i can think of

basically, the motor, which is dx 92hp and si 108ish, the seats door panels, sunroof,rims,the little si sticker on back, exhaust dx has one tip si's have 2. Here is my question why is it when u do a dpfi to mpfi and use an si tranny u run faster than an si. Maybe its the drivers in my case, but everyone i have seen do this swap runs faster than si's with sim mods.

 

what about rear disc brakes

 

My 90 SI doesnt have rear disk or dual exhaust....

 

If it is a 90 CRX Si it should have rear disk brakes. And it doesn't have dual exhaust but rather a dual tip (kind of). It actually has dual exits on the muffler. If you saw a DX with a sunroof it was probably a chitty aftermarket pop up deal. That would be something that you would definitely want to steer clear of.

 

thanks i knew i forgot something and if u want to get tech si's have front and rear sway bars or something, i know their suspension is a lil better than the dx's.

the dx do not have tilt wheel, not tach in the gauge cluster,the center consul is different, the seats are different,it is slower,there are alot of little things so just buy a si and it would be all good

 

Wrong, my Dx has a tilt wheel and a tach. I believe that you may be thinking of the hatch (not sure though) rather than the CRX. My 88 DX has everything a 90 Si has except the sunroof and about 300 lbs.

 

Maybe the civic dx's don't. My crx dx has a tach in the gauge cluster, the steering wheel tilts. I remember my friends lx civic hb, <i guess it was like the crx hf> it didnt have crap, the seats sucked and no tach interior was way differant.

 

I have an 88 Si and an 89 DX. My DX has a sunroof that you turn with a handle. I don't think it's aftermarket. Probably a factory option, right?

 

My 89 Dx also had a sun roof. I could open it with a tab. It also gave me the option to raise ir to 3 different levels. Pretty damn cool, except some fool crashed into me and totaled it. It also has a smaller master brake cylinder than the Si. I think it's 13/16 for the DX and 15/16 for the Si.

 

thats weird i have tilt wheel in my DX and i also have a sunroof that was also on the original window sticker -=Z
