Default re-wrapping a eg6 wiring harness

Has anyone done this before. I'm trying to find out what honda used that stays on the wire loom. I know electricl tape will end up peeling off. I live in phx, az where it's hot so tape loose it's stickiness. Any ideas of what to use that will look clean.
thankz

when I installed a b16a into a hatch a while back, I redid my harness and included the vtec wiring inside to it looked stock. I just redid it with a lot of electrical tape and it held up for a year before I sold it I never had any issues with it peeling off

Same here on my boosted LS, just get some good 3M Elec. tape and get wrapping.

Honda uses electrical tape also on top of the plastic loom. I always get the highest temp 3m electrical tape I can find. All of my harnesses have held up awesome. As far as splicing wires I always solder them and put good heat shrink over the joint so there is at least about an extra 1/4-1/2" of shrink tubing on both sides of the soldered area.
