KONI/GC ? to tune or not to tune
Hey every1 I just recieved my KONI/GC package. Im very happy with the quality of them and plan to put them on my car this weekend with skunk 2 pro series front camber and ingalls rear. My question is do i have to get them tuned by a shop or should i just do a allignment and be done with them. Please help me out on this guys thanks.
Depends on what you are calling "tuned". I hope you aren't talking about paying a shop to adjust your shock damping. Start with a half turn from Minimum and see that you think as you drive on them. As far as corner weighting, this is nice to do now that you can but I have had many sets of coil-overs on my street car and have always set my heights with a tape measure and confirmed that things were pretty good with a DIY alignment. You can spend the money if you have it and want to but it isn't mandatory for a street machine. Racecar, then it would be a good move.

'adjusting the cambers' would be getting an alignment.... which you should probably have a shop do.
FWIW, it's damping, not dampening. shocks don't make it rain in your wheelwell.
