Default Buying used tranny - what to inspect/replace before installing?

Okay, I've got a turbocharged Y8 setup, and nearly every part of my drivetrain setup is starting to die:

- Input shaft bearing (140k on it )
- Throwout bearing (10k miles old, from ACT )
- 2nd gear synchro (really embarassing in parking lots )
- Both axles (140k on em )

Anyways, I found a used Z6 tranny for $50 locally. I'm wondering, what should I replace on it before installing it? Pilot bearing, throwout (since it's bad), etc??

I plan on replacing all synchros/bearings on the Y8 tranny, and installing the OBX LSD (hate all you want bitches).

When ever I get a ussed trans I pull it apart, visually inspect all the syncro's for signs of wear, and remove the bearings so I can spin then freely and listen for noises. Input bearing, and the two in the differental are the most common ones to go bad. Other then that I Replace all the seals just to be sure, clean the old gasket stuff off and use HONDABOND to put them back toghter. Pretty easy. Just make sure you torque everything up properly especially the guide bolt in the bell housing if you over tighten that your in for a world of proplems later on.

PM me if you have any questions or get stuck on something.

BTW- http://www.majestichonda.com is a decent place to buy bearings unless you can get them from someone local thro the dealer.
