i have lowered alot of cars(integra, civic, desol, jetta) - but to lower a hatch is a bitch - i mean i had t gut my back to reach the damn sturt nuts - took me longer to get the SHARP honda plastic out of my way then to lower it lol - but it looks really nice - 3" drop on skunk2's - just thought i could let some steam off about the back

 

nice, i dropped my ek about 2 1/2inches on ground controls and illuminas, no problems. post some pics

 

got any shocks on those suckers?

 

you dont need to guy the back of the 96-00 hatch to change the rear shocks, you can reach the nuts that hold on the top of the shock by just taking out your rear speaker. just a tip for next time

 

Are you sure?? - I mean i couldnt even get levrage on the nuts even with the back panel kinda pushed back - then i said the hell with it and pulled the whole rear interior - but i also had to take my moldings off anyway to paint so i wasnt that too bad - i have stock struts on it (yeppie) - but im getting some koni later down line - i dont mind bouncing alittle on bumps - ill post pics as soon as my friend gives me his digi cam -

 

Taking out the back speakers is all I had to do to drop mine.

i lowered lots of hondas too and the easiest was my friends ek..took about an hour..with no power tools..

 

wow - i dunno why i couldnt do it - my **** was on really *ucking tight - but i also didnt have extensions -

 

Yea i am sure just take out your rear speaker then you can take off your shocks that way, that is how i always do mine.

 

yeah i just did it with my speakers out too all you need is an extention on your wrench. i have alot of experience in doing the rear....i had to do it 4 times before i was sure it was done right.....i hate not having instructions that are good.

yeah just took out the speakers, and it only took about 50 mins for everything... Had to use stock shocks tho they should be fine for a while lol
