Maintenance Required Light Is On
I believe it means your car is due for a service according to the current mileage. You can turn it off in my civic by holding the odometer reset for like 10 seconds with the key in the on position.

Wait, is this the check engine light or the little non-light thing right in the bottom center of the speedo? If its the second then its pretty much just a counter from what I remember. Every 7500 (i think) miles it will change to from green > yellow > red. Just reset it with the key in the little slot beside it.
oil change, ususally for ur 90,000 miles you need timing belt, water pump, drive belts etc. etc., have fun paying for it

Yea its fine. That thing is not much more than a counter. Originally I believe it was supposed to remind you when yo change your oil (or some matinence item) every 7500 miles but I change mine more often than that so its useless to me. When mine gets red or yellow I just reset it.
