i'm sorry guys..i know i must of asked this question a million times just rephrased...but is it worth modifying my 02 accord 5 spd? i keep changing my mind...the other day..i ran into that topic on the g23..and i was pretty convinced i was gonna do that. but then i was thinking about the type r integra. please help me make my mind up. i'm going for performance and daily drivablilty. i don't need 500 hp...but i would like to reach around 270.

You need to go the hybrid forum if you are planning an engine swap and start reading. For one thing there is no such thing as a G23. Your car currently has an F23 if that is what you are talking about. As far as the Integra Type R thing goes that would be totally custom because people just don't do it. That engine just doens't make enough low end torque for your 3200 pound car.

Please do some research, you seem extremely confused.

 

it's going to take a lot of work and $$$ to get to 270 reliably. slapping on an H22 head won't get you anywhere near that. maybe 170 if you're lucky.

for those who don't know G23 is the silly made up code for the F23 w/ H22 head. F G H... get it?
