what motor is better b20b or b20z? im planning on turboing it...thanks

Neither. The sleeves are weak. Now if you sleeve it then it doesnt matter which you get.

Get the cheaper one.

b20z has more power. Like Luserkid said, the sleeves are weak unless you plan on rebuilding the motor with forged internals, resleeving it, etc...

B20 doesnt have VTEC.

Well what head are you putting on.

The motor isnt going to be good unless you know waht your doing.

B20B has 8.8cr and the B20Z has 9.2 or something. B20 sleeves are weak. I have a B20vtec with 85mm bore and 11:1CR. Extremely torquey and I take it to 8,400RPM.

So do not turbo unless you're sleeving it. And if you're going N/A, do not exceed 11.5CR.

you could get some JE pistons and eagle rods and GE Sleeves and put a mildly built GSR head on it, and you'd be good to go.... A GSR Head is a good way to go for power.... But there are a lot of different opinions out there.... so don't just take mine do your own research....
