Damn, this is the 3rd tensioner I had to replace. I ran into Si-non vtec and saw spring loaded tensioner. but no one have heard of it, Not even the dealership can find out anything,,,,

Is it true that the 2.3 tensioner are stronger than the 2.2 vtec

it's true the si tensioner is stronger. the hydraulic ones are junk. click that link that dude put on to get the parts you need. i recommend getting them from hondaautomotiveparts.com because they're cheaper than your local dealer.
