Default Spec Miata Rentals Available - ARRC, Sebring, Nationals

Spec Miatas Available to Rent: Run at the last ARRC SM race, try out historic Sebring Intl. or... Begin your bid to qualify for the Runoffs in 2006 in SpecMiata.

-ARRC Sprint Race @ Atlanta, 11/10-13th - 1992 1.6 SM available
-Turkey Trot Regiona @ Sebring, 11/24-27th - 1995 1.8 SM and 1994 1.8 SM available.
-January Nationals @ Sebring and Moroso, All cars available

Cars are top flight, Pro level prep. Two of the cars have run in the top-5 at Atlantic Pro series events this season, the other car is a bit lower prep, but less expensive to rent. All of the cars feature top-line data acquisition and video systems. You can win in these Spec Miatas. Rentals also include driver coaching from a top SM driver. Rates are reasonable... this is the most economical way to get on TV at the Runoffs!

Contact us here: http://www.motorsports-exchange.com/emailform.htm for more information or to reserve a car!

"A top SM driver"

You're not talking about you, are you?

Sounds like lots of fun, I might actually be calling you to do a rental or two next year if I have schedule conflicts with MiDiv stuff and have to go out of region. It would be cool to have a lap timer.

I just realized that this will be the last time SM runs at the ARRC.

At least it should be. Its for regional only classes.

Scott, who thinks ITA just might be friggin HUGE next year come the 2nd weekend in November.

Hey Bowie... Have fun with that

Well - hadn't thought about THAT. Want to bet that the guidelines somehow change and SM DOES run the 06 ARRC?

I have to buy so much other crap before I do that. "That felt faster" will have to do for the first few races next year.

You're somebody who knows things, so here's a question:

In the SM section to be added to the '06 rulebook, I noticed something about adding no additional sensors for the sake of datalogging. Is that rule new or is that something that is superceded by some other rule?

I'm with you, simply because the time is there in the schedule and its tough to lose 50 to 60 entrants, some of which also run the Enduro (so call it 70 entrants).
And I think SM is still going to be big enough regionally to justify it. I'm pretty sure only the biggest of the big dogs will go National, and the Pro series now looks like it will be only for the brand new 2006 cars, so there will still be plenty of SM regionally (maybe 30 instead of 50 ).
So I'd be OK with it. Its not like say GT2, where there are 3 guys in the whole division.

That said, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it went away.
