I bought these lug nuts that are anodized gold but I want tp strip the gold off....I bought paint stripper but after a trillion coats the gold did not even show any signs of commin off... Is there another way to take the gold anodize off or am I just stuck with the gold............ Don't ask why I bought the gold cuz I don't know mayself......but any help would be great.........

 

I've heard of Draino being used before, but never tried it myself.

YOu know you might just call a shop that does anodizing, I'm sure they have a process for reversing it. I just had an anodized part polished out, but didn't think to ask them how they did it.

 

dying metal through polarity seems hard to reverse..but anything is possible nowadays.

 

I live in Guam and no one does anodizing out here, so I guess I am out of luck......I hope the draino works though.......

 

Use jassco it should work. You can get it from home depot.
