CIVIC typeR subframe brace install?
just bought a CTR subframe brace for my 99 EK,seen a pic in a hyperev book, but where it shows in the book has NO bracket off the chassis for it ....................any CLUES on this mystery................LMK!
Are you talking about rear sway? If Its a subframe reinforcement brace you might have to drill holes to make it fit. The top 2 will line up with the existing holes so just drill holes for the lower 2 mounting points on the brace. Clear this up a little and maybe I can help you a little more
eeehhh, i think the jdm ctr rear subframe is different from the us ones. the ctr subframe is way more beefy than the us ones.. it will not fit
The CTR subframe has the mounts for the brace built in, the USDM subframes do not have this mount. You could custom fab something if you really want to use it.
thanks for a little insight, thinking of just getting angle iron and shaping it to fit the brace then have a welder weld the iron in place so that i could bolt the brace......
