4 cyl 2004 ex heavily loaded bad camber, need device to lift & level rear end
Have searched but found nothing. Would appreciate point to archived answer or where else to look.
My 4 cyl 2004 accord ex has eaten rear tires for 60K due to heavy load in trunk. Dealer alignment repaired right rear excessive toe in but left -2.5 degrees rear camber.
Apparently the excessive weight causes this excessive camber, but I was told that some kind of air shock or air bag could be added to the rear suspension that would allow me to level the car correcting the camber. Is this correct? Where do I find such air or hydraulic devices?
I have had good luck with air shocks on other cars but they seem to be unavailable for the accord.
Thanks for your help.

what the hell is in your trunk that is dropping it that much?
I would think about getting coilovers ( Ground control) or linear rate springs

Trade the accord in for a ridgeline. If you can stand they way they look.
.
Seriously what the hell are you hauling around?

yup ... the springs hold up the car.
oh one question.... did you get it aligned with the weight in the back? If the weight is there all the time you should get it done with the weight n the back

Have yet to weigh the stuff but I am a field engineer and live out of the car. 3 weeks luggage, automotive tools, work tools, full size spare,2 gal gas, and the usual junk that ends up in a trunk.
The stuff was in the car when it was aligned and although they got the toe in corrected the camber was beyond adjustment.
Have looked at the springs linear and otherwise but have not seen what makes sense. Stumbled onto camber adjustment kits but have not found any.
I had an 89 celebrity hauling the same stuff for 260,000 prior to this accord and had no problem wearing tires, but I did have air lift shocks on it.
Thanks for your help.

Yes the car was loaded when it was aligned. The fixed toe but ran out of adjustment for the camber.

might not be exactly what you're looking for but might help. there are "kits" made for the car, but more for the "show" type cars. maybe try call the company and see if anything they have can meet your needs.

sounds like you need a work truck/van for some real space and practical use... but if thats not an option why not try some stiff rated springs?
