go under the dash put your hand up until you feel the defrost switch and push it out. its a 2 sec. job

You could expletive up the dash that way. Id use a pick.

 

yeah just did it i pry it out with a thin tool can be nife srew driver pick anything thin on each side there are clips i just slide it in to pusg the clips an pry it out realy easy.

 

i found it easier and less damaging to take out the trim around the cluster, then you can push it out from directly behind
