yep. im gona be there around 3pm, hope to see all of u guys out there, lucky for me i dont have to go that far to get there, only like a 10 min drive. dang WOTM_RSX u comin from tuscon, thats a 1-2 hr drive dependin on how u drive, remember there are mad cops on that highway. so do the speed limit, or get a radar detector..lol. well hope to see u guys out there. =]

 

Yeah, coming from Tucson, not a bad drive at all. I do have a radar detector as well. Last time I went up to Firebird in my Maxima, I hit 120. From Tucson to Firebird, just over an hour. Not bad.
Unfortunately we lost a member TucsonRSX, because he misshifted and blew his engine on his Type S yesterday.

 

man what is up with all these people miss shifting.. is it cause you people dotn know how to drive or what man.. madd people are giving the rsx a bad rep

 

oh damn, mis shifted huh. 3rd to 2nd at redline huh. that happens alot. dang, well let him ride shot gun so he gets to look at the cars.lol. i made it to tuscon in 52min in my type S, dont ask how fast i was goin, i dont want to incriminate myself. but all i can say was that it was waaaaaayy above the speed limit. hehe. well hope everyone who is goin to the meet gets there safe. well good luck guys.

 

He actually was in fourth, meaning to go up to third, but accidentally slipped it into first! Maybe it is b/c the gearbox is so close, I dont know, but what a tragedy. However, he said that the Acura dealer is going to replace it for him under warranty. Lucky. It almost makes me scared to drive my RSX.

 

damn that sux bro, and he's lucky that the dealership is coverin it. and as for the comment made about people not knowin how to drive that is not it at all. the rsx-s gear box is tighter together. alot closer then the gs-r or previous integra. so people are still gettin used to it. u shouldnt trash talk about that, u shouldnt act like u never misifed before in ur life. people have accidents, it happens. so chill on that. and hey WOTM_RSX i hope ur buddy gets his car back soon, i have known some dealerships that have taken past a month to fix it. so i hope ur buddy doesnt get a ford taurus like i did.lol. well i'll see u this saturday.

 

Thank you, that is what I was going to say, dont give someone a hard time about an accident. Do you know how much pain he must be going through right now??? Anyways, the dealership is getting the motor in and installed by the end of next week. He still trying to locate a Type R motor from Japan and install that one, but since Acura is giving him this one, he is going to hold off on the Type R until they become more readily available.

 

ur bro is tryin to get a dc5r motor? dang, he must have some mad money to be throwin around. im gettin all the internals from the dc5r. im currently lookin for the dc5r intake manifold. i found a dc5r motor for sell on ebay but it was goin for 8ooo. so i hope ur friend has money, cuz its a brand new motor and its gona run him some money. tell hime to get his type S motor and do type R internals in it. thats what im doin. and no prob on the previous post. i hate it when peope flame another person cuz of a mistake. i mean come on no one is perfect, not only does he have to deal with the problem but also take heat from another person clownin him for his mistake. like he doesnt have enough to worry about. well thats cool that the dealership is gona fix it in a week,what dealership did he get it from? hey if u have a chance check this site out. http://www.importfan.com theyhave some dope bodykits for the rsx. they look cool, but also look very heavy. im tryin to get my car as light as possible. so i dont think i will be gettin any of these. im just gona get the jdm kit. well later bro. and check that site out. laterzz
