Default Steering Wheel Material

anyone know where i can get a metal/steel/wooden material (any of those 3) steering wheel..i really dont care for the brand..just want to know if they make these..its not for appearance purposes...i dont care if its wrapped in leather or anything..just want an extra durable steering wheel that can endure cutting...name some brands or makes..

The reason they are not made of metal is so that if you do get in an accident *knock on wood* you dont bash your skull in when you hit the wheel. Why dont you just go the full proof way and get a removable steering wheel and a hub

removables make it easier for theives to steer with..they can just get some kinda wrench or apparatus and steer away...plus makes it easier for them to get to the ignition area.....
