1995 Honda Accord EX with intermittent ABS Light
I am having a problem with my 1995 Honda Accord EX (V6 with leather seats). The ABS light comes on intermittently, normally after about 15 - 30 minutes into the drive. I have tried re-starting the car immediately after the light comes on and the light would go off.
I was hoping to get some help on the following,
1. Would the fault code be logged into the ABS module?
2. I have managed to print out the ABS codes from another website but cannot find the diagnostic connector to short.
3. Any other ideas?
Thanks much in advance

Timothy

Ouch... I am hesitating because I don't have the code for my radio.
Do you really think it would help? I am quite puzzled because it only comes on after about 15-30 minutes. The light would always go off after the car is first started. Sometimes, it doesn't even come on for the entire trip.
However, I am willing to give it a shot if it would be a likely source of the problem. Thanks much for your help.

try to get the code. I have the same year and model so the connector should be the same. The connector is blue, has two terminals and is under the passenger dashboard. Just stick ur head down and look up. After u found it, connect the terminals together and turn ignition to on position (not start). Ur abs light should blink. Record the code and see what's the problem.
One solution to your radio problem is to get those backup battery pack that connects to the cigarette lighter. It will save your radio presets and security code if u disconnect the battery from the car.

Thanks much!
I will go back home and try it out! I was looking for a couple of hours yesterday and thought it might be behind the passenger side glove compartment, so I removed it but only found a red connector which I suspect is for the SRS since it was located next to a SRS box.
Will try looking further in there for a blue 2 pin connector

It's around there somewhere.

I have managed to download the codes and it shows me a 1-3 or a high pressure leakage.
I have read that this could be caused by a low fluid level or a bad modulator, what should I do next?

Thanks. Have checked that the brake fluid level is good.
However, I am uncertain how to check the ABS fluid level. I have looked at the reservoir, but cannot see fluid line. Does that mean that it is totally empty? How can I replenish the ABS fluid reservoir? I have read in my owner's manual that this can be done only at the workshop?

I have looked again this morning (guess couldn't see too well in the darkness) and found that the ABS fluid level is also good.
Anybody have other ideas what could be the cause...? Not sure why it is so intermittent though...
Thanks again.

Unfortunately that usually indicates a bad abs modulator. It wouldn't hurt to try bleeding the abs fluid though.
