Default is there a difference in USDM GSR tranny and the JDM one

is there a difference in USDM GSR tranny and the JDM one? or are they similar?

There are both LSD and non-LSD JDM transmissions for the sir-g (GSR ) and the USDM one never came with LSD. I think those are the only differences, don't quote me though.

Correct. Ratios are the same for both. The LSD was a viscous type and not helical like the ITR LSD.
