need help on motor swap

Default need help on motor swap

im swap out my old motor is an obd0 and now imm putting in an obd2 motor. i want to know what do i need to do to make this motor run and what i need for the motor swap to be sucessful

Well, before you go any further, I would research this issue, there are plently of threads you could search for to find this information. So before you loosen one bolt under that hood, research.

i already took the motor out and put the obd2 motor in already

i did it once and i did it the pain in da a** way. i changed the entire harness that runs from the engine bay to the firewall to the ecu to underneath the dash. not worth it in my opinion. too much work. maybe theres an easier way. thats how i did it.

Hopefully you are letting a professional do this swap and not a ghetto swap. You need all necessary wiring harnesses to make sure everything hooks up. I think one of the most important things is the cable to hydraulic conversion assuming that you have a complete b18b swap w/tranny, ecu, etc. Hasport makes a cable to hydraulic mounts for the hydraulic tranny. After it is all said and done, ***congrats*** you have 2 more hp But serisouly, to make things easier on myself(and my wallet) I would have stuck with the b18a model. Good luck, im sure I left somethings out, but now you have to continue doing some searching cuz I cant spoon feed you.
