I was looking to shave the door handels and molding on my EG. I currently have a lincoln eletric weld-pak 3200..which has a rating of 25-135 amps, and can weld as low as 24g steel. I currently have a tank of argon/co2 mixture that i plan on using also. I know that i cannot do a single pass and have to do a series of spot welds. My question is, what size steel should i use to weld the panels? and also what wire size and power settings should i use?

20-22 guage steel.
