Default Apexi N1 Coilovers (2001)

I am aware that their is a way to adjust the dampening on these coil-overs buy using some special tool, but I cant seem to locate it. I've done a search on this and got some answers that resulted back to this same question, I believe that they are still factory set which seems stiff as hell. Any links or pics of this tool would be great full, oh I tried the Allen wrench thing too and its not going to happen.

LONG allen key in 2mm or 2.5mm (can't remember) goes inside the top opening.

then turn full clockwise for most stiff. turn 16 clicks ccw from full stiff to softest setting.

Guessing it must have to be very long in order to touch anything down there. The long ones that I have don't go down far enough guess I'll be visiting Sears soon to see what they have available.
