Default brake rotor question

Heres a stupid, quick question...How many of you just buy new rotors instead of turning them when getting new pads? The rotors i have been using are mated with axxis ultimates now (both rotors and pads were brand new when put on). I plan on buying ultimates again and was just wondering if i needed to buy new rotors since these arent exactly gentle like OEM pads would be on the rotor. I dont have that measuring tool to measure the thickness of the rotor so please dont tell me to just measure it, unless i can use a ruler (but thats not too accurate).

I always just buy new rotors as they are only 20.00 bucks or so.

The guy turning them will tell you if they are too thin to turn. Turning rotors makes it a lot easier to warp them under braking.

just turn it save the money for gas! U should be able to turn it twice, if u are using stock pads. If u have an agressive pad, then maybe u can onlt turn it once. Its only 6 to turn a rotor, so why not?

Yeah, thats about what I paid for a pair of rears, pair being the operative word so it equals about 24.00 each.

Also auutozone rotors are 19.99 each as stated above.
