I assume your looking for a cat back exhaust that is going to bolt up to the downpipe. Most quality kits will come with a 3" downpipe that has no bottlenecks. Therefore you need a 3" cat back exhaust.

Your options are slim to none. Not one company makes a true 3" exhaust for the DC5.

The closest would be the 3" Thermal R+D turbo exhaust. But even that has a small bottleneck at one point that makes it less than 3".

Greddy makes the EvoTT which is one step up from a 2.25 or 2.5 inch exhaust. Even still this exhaust only has 2.75" piping.

Both these choices would be fine for moderate power goals and spool time. But if he is looking to make some serious power, like over 450, I would go this route. This happens to be the route I am taking.

Purchase 3" mandrel bent piping from Kteller.com and then an apexi 3" turbo muffler. No resonator and have a local shop weld it together. Even DIY. This is going to give you the best flowing exhaust possible. But it's not for the faint of heart, this exhaust is going to scream. If noise is a problem add a 3" magnaflow resonator.

Any other questions about turbo K20's just shoot.
