B16 swap axles????
that don't matter cuz i allready know what you guys will say and they are always mixed responses, i'm just tryin to experiment. So if anyone knows which one is longer please tell me!!
I called up Raxles (http://www.raxles.com/), told them what motor/tranny I had, and what chassis they were going into....they sent me some very nice new axles that fit like OEM. But I'm lazy...
Oh, and to answer the question, aren't the 90-93 ones longer? I seem to remember hearing that, though I can't remember where...

Yep seen it and checked everything out!! Okay here's the lowdown just so you all know what i'm trying to figure out!! B16a1 s1 int. shaft 90-91 axles. But i'm so low that my inner boots are stretched, so i figure if i can find axles just an inch longer or something that it'll solve the problem. Since the boots are so stretched the boot becomes very soft and more exposed, and i have ripped 2 boots due to this. So i'm thinking ig the 88-89 axles are just a tad bit longer i'll try those, but if not i'll just stick to what i got and raise my car!!
88-9's are longer, just checked it out 2 days ago. But it's fairly common for the boots of the 90-91's to be stretched, if you haven't broken an axle, stick with that, just move the boot closer up on the shaft.

That's what i thought, cuz this is what i figured!! everyone saying that the 88-89 axles work better is cuz they are slammed pretty low, and everyone claiming that the 90-91 are fine is cuz they are probably only dropped like a 1 in to 1 1/2. So everyone using the mixed combo won't have any problems cuz it only extends it half the length of using the whole one which will work either way.
As for me, the boots are stretched and all soft and exposed and 2 have been ripped due to this, besides that i have had no other problems, so imma try pushing the boot towards the joint and see if that is the fix but if that don't work imma have to try something else.

Well I used about every b series axles on my b16a and had no problem. Here is the catch. If you use 90-91 integra axles use the intermediate shaft from that very same car Cause the intermediate shaft is a female. You could also use 99-00 civic si axles, but use the the intermediate shaft from the very same car too cause those are males. The same goes for the 95 and up integra gsrs. And so on and so on. Believe me I use them all.
i'm using the stock dx hubs. and i'm dropped about 3.25 with the sprint rx. Great springs and great ride, that's why i don't want to sacrifice raising my car. We'll see, i'll go to a junkyard and see what i can figure out for my self!!
OK I have done 2 situations. I have done the 90-93 teg axles with the s1 or 90-93 usdm teg intermediate shaft. I have also done the JDM sir intermediate shaft with the 90-93 passenger axle, and the driver from any 86-89 teg. All useing dx/si civic hubs. I talked to marty at http://www.raxles.com too, but there is no way that I am going to buy 350 dollar axles to make the swap work when I could use something else. JUst MY EXperience................
