I am looking into buying exhaust, and i dont know if i should get the apex or the aerospeed, im staying n/a, no turbo or s/c just strat motor, and i wanna deep but loud sound, what do yall think??

 

i would get the N1.. i think Apex would have better quality over Arospeed...

 

The N1 is pretty loud too!! A great exhust, definetly higher quality over Arospeed... I would go with the APEXi

If you're looking to compare apples to apples, it would be Tenzo vs Arospeed.

my friend has an arospeed on his celica gts with custom 2.5 inch piping.. it sounds okay.... but looks like crap.... plus arospeed is a dirty company along the lines of OBX tenzo and APC... go for the apex'i. i love my apexi power intake filter...

What is so poor about the qauity of those el cheapos? OBX is stainless and TIG welded, what else is it missing? Is it that signature JDM tuner stamp? Don't mind me too much I'm just venting cause I hate trying to find the perfect exhaust, I'm might just quit all together!

 

I have the APEXI N1 and I luv it.. Its deep as hell when it hits VTEC crazy i turn madd heads go for the APEXI

 

The tanabe racing medallion is the BEST exhuast for the Integra from what I have read. Power wise it's suppossed to be number 1. I have also read the Fireball and Greddy are great for the car...

 

I have a friend who put the Aerospeed Bomb muffler on his Neon ACR. Its sounds so horrible. He is getting rid of it after like a month. It does sound deep but it sputters so loud each time he shifts. Did u ever see the movie Uncle Buck? It sounds like that backfire.

 

OK now at least your comparing 2 good exhausts.. the Apexi N1 and the Tanabe Racing Medallion.. both of these are good exhausts they both have a straight through design and are both kind of loud.. but its a deep/throaty loud and not a raspy cheap sounding note...

Yep I picked the N1 over the TRM for my gsr Either way these 2 exhaust are good and have straight through design with minimal bends so whatever your choice are u will still be satisfied. Reason i picked n1 over trm was too many teggys down here have trm almost everyone has trm in their civics also. So I went different and picked the n1. Nice performance and looks and sounds is okay. GOod luck

 

Go For Apex N1! its kind of loud but i love it! I personally think it looks better than the Tanabe Racing Medalian

Does the N1 silencer really work or does it just sound like dirt?

 

I heard the racing medallion has a large bottleneck in the piping, but I don't really know enough about it to be specific. As for the N1, I've had one before and they are great. Excellent deep sound, beautiful welds, really nice piece.
