YUP dats the 60rs ... its not even loud with the cat ... then i put custom test pipe, and the sound is just sex ... with the J's intake, you might have to cut the hood from the inside depends if you have any room for the snorkle ...
p.s. dont bother with the hood pins

You're gonna have to give me your number so you can help me cut the hood if I need to.
But Ben at Bulletproof said that the Top Secret hood provides enough clearance for the J's intake. The intake won't be here for another month so we'll see what happens. What intake are you running?

Can someone please tell me why? I thought that hood pins were "somewhat needed" with CF hoods, even though I never had em on my Sol. Can I drill for the washer nozzles at least?

It should be drilled for washers like Oz said.
Hood pins are not necessary because your hood is heavier than the oem one. Now if you had a dry carbon fiber hood, which is super light, you would need hood pins. The company you bought your hood from will always tell you to get hood pins as its a safety requirement for them to offer it to you

Yeah...you were too busy trying to get some pancakes with the ITR guys. Actually, by then, I had already been at lunch for close to 1.5 hours, so I had to run anyway.
Yup...no pins needed for a reinforced dry CF hood. I'm not sure about the Top Secret, but if the underside is reinforced, you shouldn't need the pins. If it's just a hood lid, you may need to do the pins. However, I suggest not doing so. With a vented hood, you have a much less chance of the hood peeling back at high speed. The air pressure on either side of a vented hood at speed shouldn't be great enough to "blow open" the hood. On a non-vented hood with weak latching, this could be a major issue....especially with a hood length as long as the S2K.

Yea, from people forgetting to push their hood down all the way, buying cheap 1 ply hoods, shitty install... There will always be stories.
RE:Hoodpins
When you drill into carbon fiber like that, eventually it will start to crack around the area in which you drilled for the hood pins.
Don't do it. It looks cleaner without them anyway.
