ok me and friend have a debate on which color was the rarest for the 92-95 Si hb. just the si alone not all the HBs in general. he said that the Teal color was the rarest for the si and i said it was white. so can someon help us out. i've heard that captiva blue pearl is pretty rare for Sis also. but which one is it??

Are you talking OEM colors or all color in general?

 

i believe it is silver, only came stock outside of america....don't take my word for it

I think Its a blue color for the eg hatchback, captiva blue or something like that... not sure. But I have never seen and OEM silver eg, that would probably be really rare... Don't take my word for it either

And you gave a dumb answer. Who cares where you live? Honda produced a certain number of each car in each color. Where you live has nothing to do with how many were produced. You could at least try to be helpful. I also think it was Captiva Blue but I am not positive.

 

well i think jdm-ej1 was trying to say.. that you're not gonna find a silver 99-00 SI here in the states.. but you will in europe..

now are we talking about rarest color in the states, or rarest in the world?

 

Doo Doo Brown or Asparagus or Magenta I guess...I've never seen any that color.

JDM-ej1 didn't say anything of the sort... and they are talking about 92-95s. Way to be on top of things. oh just to help you out is Sis also!

lol clarifying what? You're the only one in this thread who ever mentioned anything about a 99-00 Si.

 

Aztec green and frost white.
Aztec Green only came out in 93
Frost White is late 94-95

 

The rarest Si (not going strictly by color) model are 1994 Frost White Si models with ABS. There was a model matrix back in the day at one of the first Honda enthusiast sites (I think it may have been the old civic.vtec.net site) and from what I remember there were about 10,000 Si models in MY1994 (USDM only) and only a portion of them were Frost Whites, and an even smaller portion of Frost Whites had ABS.

no way black cherry is the rarest with the abs option i have never seen one in my life the only one i have seen is mine it is a two tone paint joblooks black but in the sun it looks dark reddish purple

I have that paint. It's not rare.

 

so have we come to a conclusion yet?
