Hey... I'm working on rebuilding a '98 LS that had a fire in the hatch. The wiring harness burnt through, but I have it mostly replaced. I have a few questions:

1. When I put my turn signal on the taillight and dims and the back up lights (both) light up slightly. I found that to be a little odd.

2. The dome lights don't work There is no fuse that I could find that was burnt out.

3. It's an ATX and the key needs to be put into the "gear selection locker" to get it out of park all the time. Lastly the brake lights don't work either. I have a feeling that the BOO light isn't working. That would also explain why the cruise doesn't seem to want to work either.

One more thing to through into the mix, it has a security system woven into the body harness under the dash.

Any help would be great.

Aparently the dash lights fuse in under the hood. I found 3 others that were blown under there. So I have one brake light that works now. The car does shift out of park now too.
