Default JDM b18c valve adjustment.

Ok so my cosuin has a b18c in his CRX and he went to adjust the valves after reaching 9500 but the problem is even at .006-.007 and .007-.008 he is still getting tapping. All the links in the large faq (thank god for that thing) about adjusting valve clearance seemed to be towards the usdm motor. The question is will it be any different on the jdm motor? I'd appreciate any help, and if you tell me to search I will rape you.....

Nice thought . A search, or even easier, the forum faq stickie'd at the top would have answered it.

Probably the lost motion assemblies are a little worn out. I wouldnt worry about it if the valves are adjusted correctly.

I did search and read through every post on the sticky which is why I said that. But I do appreciate the help.

I have a 96spec ITR and i had my valves adjusted shortly after i got the car and had them done to euro/uk specs (same as US specs)...It quietened them up a little but i reckon its the LMAs that cause the most of the ticking noise. If theyre done to the correct specs then dont worry about them.
