Install p28 obd1 ecu on ob2 car
sup,
im sure this is plug and play.... i just dont want to mess anything up.
so i buy a obd2 to obd1 harness and a chipped p28 ecu....
so the harness fits evenly into the p28 .....and just plug it in where the oem obd2 connectors are right? is there any other part of the procedure?
thanks

you have an 00 civic?
the p28 is obd1 and you need an obd2b to obd1 wireharness conversion. if that is what you have, you can plug and play it. pull your connectors out of your ecu, plug your conversion harness in, then plug in the p28.
my buddy had one, mine is converted to a p30, i just unplugged mine and plugged in the p28 and ran it instead. good for a bit of power, but you're insane to run it on the highway unless you have an ls 5th gear in the b16
