9lb Aluminum Unorthodox Racing Flywheel. They don't sell it anymore, only the 10lb.

I love it.

It will allow you to rev faster(aka get to VTEC sooner) and it reduces the rotational mass of the drivetrain, so there's less power loss from the flywheel to the wheels.

go fidenza , thats what im thinking about, but itz way too much. laughin 2.2 is right, it does reduce th rotation mass, but it also helps throw the energy out where its needed , at the wheels. with a faster rotation, it turns the drivetrain faster. its all about enercia.

It's $380 for a fidanza from preludeparts.com. Have you ordered the H22A yet?

I'm on a budget here. I'd love a Jun chromoly flywheel, but I've got a lightened factory flywheel sitting right next to me (it saw very short term duty in my old Accord motor, same part as Prelude). So, yeah, we've all heard lightened factory flywheels can explode. Does anyone actually know anyone that has had a lightened factory flywheel shatter? I wanna slap this thing on. I mean, it's paid for and stuff.
Thanks.

My stock one is at the machine shop getting a basic 6-7lb lightening. The guy said there are a few that he has cut almost 60% of the weight off, and he hasn't had one blow up. I still went for the mild lighten tho!

I'm running the 8lb Fidanza (Clutchmaster Label).. car runs great.. Noticeable acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear, anything past that can't really tell a difference... throttle response is quicker.. easier to drive the car.
