i wanna get a CAI and exhaust for my car but i dont know what to get, for the CAI i've been hearing really good things about the AEM v2 CAI, but what i want it to do is hiss like a turbo, my friend has a 02' dodge dakota R/T and he has a K&N CAI and it hisses and sounds beautiful, but a K&N intake on a honda? so i need help on what to choose for a CAI that preferably hisses.

second, i've been looking into exhausts for my car too... i want a low deep tone agressive sound, almost like an sti, but im iffy about getting an exhaust system if i dont know what it sounds like, i was gonna go with an N1 exhaust, but my other friend with a 99' eclipse GS-T has one and says that they rust after about 300 miles, so i looked into 5zigen and almost 2000 dollars for a cat-back exhaust, does that seem just alittle too much, one more thing i'd like is the exhaust to be angled out, im not a big fan of the straight ones, i know i could probably get it custom bent too, if i could get some help on that too i would appreciate it... if anyone has any sound clips or photos, that would really help.

 

I don't know alot about aftermarket parts and mods... but my friend Chris runs the retail parts department for Wilde motorsports... his name on these forums is Chemicalviper... he usually posts in the topic "Milwaukee Meat"... look him up, he'll have great advice.

I bought a 98 accord ex v6 cpe 4 years ago, which was just tooo quiet. Went to get some better mufflers and ended up with a Magnaflow stainless steel cat back system for about $600. Has a low sound over a wide rpm range, better at some rpm over others. I will even drive at certain speeds/rpms cause it sounds so great. Also, supposidly about 8 hp gain, but never had this tested. All i know is for me it sounds great.
