hey i jus ordered a carsound cat model # 91035 2.25 inches and 13 inches long for my 95 gsr .. i jus got home and realized that i ordered it and didnt even search here for some info on the cats yet .. so my question is : is 13 inches too short because i see people using 16 and 17 inches for 99 gsrs or is it because mines is shorter since it is obd1 .... and also i realize that alot of people here are either using the 93000 to 94000 series or the 53000 series .. are they better flowing than the one i ordered ( 91000 ) ?? .. thanks alot !

take it to a muffler shop and they will make it fit..

 

that's what i had to do. none of them are an "exact" fit, but they will come within a inch or two. i had to take the DA to the muffler shop to get them to extend the pipe to meet teh donut on the cat. easy fix: like 30 min. and you're back on your way. but like i said, i don't know if any of them are actually a true direct replacement.

 

what about the flow difference between the 91000s compared to the 93000s and 53000s .. also anyone with an obd1 gsr can confirm that the cat is shorter than the obd2 ? .. thanks
