i have a 98 civic ex 5 speed and i want to know if there is any tach that will fit in my car that has a rpm guage that goes higher than 8500. can i use a tach from a 92-95 or do they make inserts that give a higher reading. i want my tach to be able to go up to 10,000 but 9 or 9.5 would do. any help would be great thanks.

is there any other options that might not be as much $. iam working on a motor swap so money is a litte short. maybe ebay would have an si tach for cheap and thanks for the help.
