Default swap advice

Im thinking of swapping out the d16y7 in my hatch for something else. I was thinking either LS, DOHC zc, d16y8, or b16. What is my best option in terms, of performance, (obviously), mpg, reliablity, ease of swap.... opinions?

y8 is the easiest to swap and best mpg
