Guys, a friend of mine have a 1992 Civic hatchback with B16A engine. He's looking around for a cat-back exhaust system. He said most of the applications are stated only for EG6 but didn't say for DX,CX, Si, or anything? Do all of them use the same exact design? Thanks.

dx and si will the same length exhaust. cx will be completly different since the cx has the catalytic converter in the engine bay.

which header or exhaust manifold is he using? which catalytic converter are you using? if ur using a standard length header and the standard civic cat a dx or si catback will fit fine.

 

Thanks for your reply. The engine is a stock B16A engine currently but he's planning to change the header to an aftermarket one soon.

 

dx/si exhaust will be fine. if anything, get a shop to lengthen or shorten the b pipe

 

Thanks. Most brands when they stated the applications for 92-95 Civic, all they put is just EG though. Hard to say which one is which one. Thanks again though.
