Default Help with JDM EG steering wheel horn

Sup guys, I just recently installed a JDM EG steering wheel into my 1992 Civic CX hb. The original wheel was an airbag, I took everything out including the cable reel and disconnected the SRS from the harness. Everything fits snug and works perfect, thing is, I can't seem to get the horn to work. Before I put in the new steering wheel the horn worked, so I know it's not an electrical problem. I opened up the JDM steering wheel and the wire that connects the horn button looks perfect. But I noticed on the back side of the steering wheel there's a metal ring that seems to make contact to another electrical ring that's supposed to be on the hub, but since my car had SRS I don't think it had it. I know the previous gen CRXs and Civics use this electrical ring thingy (technical term hehe) So if anyone has done this install succesfully and rigged the horn up someway any help will be appreciated! Thanks!
