Default what radiator to get?

my current setup is a 94 integra gsr turbo. i was wondering what radiator would be the best to get. i was going to put a koyo radiator in but theres no way i could get it to fit with my manifold and wastegate in the way. Should i just get a oem honda radiator like maybe a del sol? and also which radiator cap would i want to use? let me know, thanks.

OEM has been working fine for me.
As far as a radiator cap, depends on how much bling you want the cap to give.(spoon, apex, etc etc)

should it be a 1.3 cap or does it depend on which radiator i go for?

1.1 is stock. Most aftermarket ones are 1.3.
Stock will do just fine.

When my radiator blew up (in front of starbucks, totally sprayed their window with coolant it was awesome =D) I got a new one off radiatorbarn.com. Its an aluminum 2row radiator (really no wider than OEM) and was 125 including shipping. Been workin real well cooling my engine since...thats my suggestion.

get a half size no matter what brand you go with since your having fitment issues. and then maybe you could get a nice pusher fan too. just a suggestion.

so that's where they got the idea for the green tea frap

it's true! here's a pic of my custom-i-zation. i have an oem civic half size, dual core automatic with a pusher fan from b18bturbo. (picture is puller style fan, i installed it incorrectly there. lol) but i just smashed the old bracket piece flat to hold the top. and zip ties own

i know phoenix turbo has a deal for some half size dual core pwr radiators.

i would recommend an aluminium radiator, although the stock ones do work. but if you're going turbo, think about the setup you want and go with a radiator to work with it. most equal length manifolds require half size radiators.

What about if I have a/c? Could I still just use a half size radiator with only 1 pusher fan?

This is for an LS. I was thinking going with a Del Sol half size dual core from b16a del sol's with a pusher fan? For a boosted setup.

arent all fans "puller" style?
i mean, why would they make a fan that pushes air from the engine bay out thru the radiator?

makes no sense to me.
Why no go with the flow of air when ur car is moving forward?

seems kinds retarded if ur driving and is coming is from the front, while the fan is trying t push hot air out?
can u peeps please correct me if im wrong?

by the way, get a koyo all metal radiator or Modine all metal radiator. I have a auto Modine all alumnium radiator for sale. used but it good condition. its black and looks stock. About the same size as a Denso Radiator.

Modine all aluminum radiator goes for 130. i'll sell it for 80 shipped.

Correct me if im wrong.........but the pusher is on the bumper side pushing air towards the motor, and the puller is on the motor side, also pushing towards the motor.

a puller and pusher both blow air into the engine bay
a puller is like the stock fans which mount like stock and pull air into the engine bay
a pusher mounts on the other side and pushed air through the radiator and into the engine bay

i would get a thicker aluminum hald size radiator. i see way too many ppl with turbos that over heat with stock civic half size raditor. i really dont think oem half sizes are good for turbos. just spend the 300 and get a good name brand aluminum one if your going to boost
