Default hey Falcon

since you locked out the other thread id like to say one thing then after you reply to me, we can delete the thread. Bench racing is two guys ( or more) talking about how they can do this and that so much better than the other guy, but in actuality, they cant do ****. If you want to brag, bring on the time slip as they say in import drags. I know Dr Park personally, and hes a bad *** rider. From what ive seen on this board, most of you foos need to get off your high horse and open up your mind to learning from more experienced riders that frequent this board rather than argue amongst yourselves over some petty **** like which bike is better. Who gives a **** which bike is better. Instead of arguing about who makes the better bike, why dont you learn to ride the bike you have to its fullest potential? Ask beneficial questions like: " when going around a turn at full tilt, and i get spooked, what should i do??" or something to tha effect. That way you learn, and whoever else thats reading will learn. I hate to see anyone go down but if you dont learn then you will go down. and going down hurts. I did not starting this thread to insult anyone, just that ive noticed a few misconceptions on here every once in a while. bench racing is one of them. Lets learn from each others mistakes and experiences instead.
PEACE! and ride safe!

When was I bragging? When was anyone bragging? We were talking about the motorcycles. Now that I think about it, no one was bench racing in that thread, according to your definition.

most of you foos need to get off your high horse and open up your mind to learning from more experienced riders that frequent this board rather than argue amongst yourselves over some petty **** like which bike is better.
i do respect and appreciate the presence of more experienced riders like figment and Dr Park coming to the board. I didn't see Dr Park, or you, add anything meaningful to that thread. It was harmess fodder and chatter about the bikes in question, and the typical run of the mill misinformation started in. I have very little tolerance for BS. If you -think- something is right, then state that. Don't pass it as fact.

For instance, a V-twin won the SBK championship, so you conclue that an inline 4 with more power and less weight and similar race suspension is garbage - THATS BS.

Ask beneficial questions like: " when going around a turn at full tilt, and i get spooked, what should i do??" or something to tha effect.
we can go over this and other topics in the MSF course if you, or anyone else, would like.

i am certainly don't know all the answers to peoples questions, nor do iact like it, and i feel obligated to facilitate meaningful discussions about motorcycles here. You and Dr Park certainly didn't seem to be contributing in the 998 v 954 thread.

If the Doc has all this experience and knowhow to share, by all means I hope he does!

why dont you learn to ride the bike you have to its fullest potential?
i agree 100%. but people will always want newer and better toys. i will always check out the newest bikes (and anything with an engine) and look them over, compare them, check out the numbers and specs - even if i dont ever get to ride them. its part of the hobby and its harmless and fun.

that ive noticed a few misconceptions on here every once in a while.
please point them out. and in the meantime please try to realise that people on here all come from very different backgrounds. we're all not a bunch of canyon carvers. and just because you are, doesnt make YOU the authority on what to think and say about motorcycles. you may have all day to talk to other riders about bikes so you get sick of the same old chatter when you see it here, but this is the only chance some of us get!

Default Mr groomworks and park

Yeah and don't start a reply calling everyone in the thread a derogatory name if you want to be taken seriously.
ok, all you biotches need to quit this bench racing shiet.
Besides, I thought the thread should be locked because the same issues which had already been resolved by BigDaddy and others was re-addressed. Once this happens and the thread becomes so long that people dont read it all, the main contributing people just lose patience and the fun of the discussion is lost.

Lets just have fun here and our little backwater portion of Honda-Tech.

There is always sportbikes.net too. I suggest if you are not already a member you should be if you are that serious about MC stuff.

Ok guys I don'tknow what transpired in the past several days in here, but lets just start over and try to get along.

We are here to learn lessons from each other so that some of us don't have to learn the hardway and also to enjoy talking about every aspect of motorcycles, be it "hypothetical issues" or " real world stuff....

I don't like to have to moderate the motorcycle section...

HONESTLY MY MOTORCYCLE FRIENDS AND PEOPLE I MEET ON THE ROAD ARE MORE RESPECTFULL OF EACH OTHER THAN CAR PEOPLE, LETS TRY TO KEEP IT THAT WAY IN HERE.

How many times have car people waved at you in a full lean cranking a knee slider out on the ground doing 40mph around a turn?? NONE!

Noone else repects us.... lets try to maintain some ourselves...

said my peace.. now keep the rubber side down.
